Victorian Botanicals

Hi.....

Today I am sharing a card from the fab new cd by Debbi Moore

Victorian Botanicals ...

I can imagine you sat there thinking flowers – mmm maybe...Victorian – NOPE!!!

But believe me this is a marvellous CD ROM and if you don't have it already – get it – you will not regret it!

So to my card.... I printed out a sheet from the quick card section – when I showed this in class so many people said they didnt like it...personally I couldn't see why!

So I made it into my card...and I really do like everything about it...the colours, the shading and of course the poppies...

I used an A5 white card blank – for the sheet of printed paper I used a Martha Stewart CHERISH corner punch on all four corners then attached the sheet to my card.

I used an oddment of patterned gold card, punched a border along each side with the Martha Stewart Cherish border punch and placed that on my card towards the left hand side.

With the main poppy image I simply adding narrow double sided tape to the edges, removed the backing and dipped into gold glitter then stuck to the gold panel.

I used a Happy Birthday sentiment and again used the DST and glitter then attached it to my card on an angle on the right hand side!

A bow was tied with red and gold wired ribbon and stuck at the top of the card!

To finish I added glossy accents to all the beautiful poppies on the topper!

So – have I convinced you that this is a lovely must have cd?

Hope so...

See you tomorrow

x
