Debbee's April Challenge

Hello everyone....

Hope its been better weather in your neck of the woods than it has here – its rained continually since yesterday – and some stupid woman reading the weather this evening said how nice it would be for us to have this amount of rain daily till the end of the year – doesn't she know I NEED the sunshine!!!!

As you know some of the ladies in my card class support me in the challenges that I set – mainly through my blog – and this month I haven't been let down

I sent all the ladies the set of sheets from a crafty blog

and I am pleased to share their finished cards here with you all!

So far I have this super short fall easel from ENA – she cleverly used a teabag medallion as a stopper for the easel by leaving out 2 folds...very clever!!! I have taken a few piccies of the card to show various parts of it!

And this big card is by KATIE – she had punched fancy borders using all 3 papers, she die cut a label for her sentiment and made the flowers herself – Katie is the real flower lady!!! Again several piccies showing sections of the card!

This lovely card is by PAT who has made a fold back card and cleverly used the insert as the backing paper inside the card....I only have one photo of Pat's card as she was taken into hospital so wasn't in class to pass on her card and had to email a pic – Get Well Soon Pat!!!

And the last entry for today is my own...I made a mini squash book measuring 7cms x 7cms, as it was smaller than the main image I had to chop the design down but think it worked out ok...I used elements of the sheet to decorate the inside of the book....something different and I really enjoyed making it!!!

Keep an eye out for more over the next few days....its class tomorrow so hopefully I will have more entries to come...

If you like the sheets click this link and save the sheets to your PC – you still have time to create a card and join in yourself!!!

Thanks for looking

  1. Angela the links you're leaving on Debbees blog aren't right. It's taken quite some time and a lot of detective work for me to find your blog! Some lovely cards and it would be a shame if they're not entered into the challenge (last month's weren't). I'm going to leave a link under comments on Debbee's blog so hopefully the design team will be able to view your cards.
