Its Showtime..

Hi
This is a card I have made for the Sunday CD Challenge Blog – I just hope I haven't left it too late to join in!
The theme was SHOWTIME
So I used image and backing paper from Card Creations Plus – You Can Dance Too
And for those who are interested on how I made the card read on...
So materials for this card I used ….
Heat mat to work on and protect your surface – I always use it...
A4 sheet of raspberry colour card
Main design and the backing sheet
A5 silver mirri card
Strip of green mirri card
Martha Stewart Punch Around The Page set
Pink gems in different sizes
Papers to make the flowers
Sticky pads
Eazi Score Board & tool
Tonic 8” guillotine
Scissors
Tweezers
Shaping tool from www.dimensionstamps.com
Foam shaping mat – stamping mat or even a mouse mat
To make the card …
I scored and folded the raspberry card to make a standard A5 card blank
Trimmed a piece of one of the backing papers to fit the card front – then punched the 2 corners on the left hand side
This was then stuck in place with double sided tape
Using the strip of green mirri card and the border punch I punch along both long sides then attached across the centre of the card.
After cutting the main image out I trimmed it close to the top and bottom edge and removed most of the sides – used the corner punch to punch all 4 corners then stuck to the silver mirri card
The mirri panel was then attached to the card slightly off centre
decoupage was cut out and added using small sticky pads
I made up 3 small flowers from patterned paper and stuck in a bunch at the right hand side using a big blob of Cosmic Shimmer PVA on each flower.
To the left side I attached 3 pink patterned card candy to the mirri green strip
Finally I used 1mm pink gems to use as an earring then added 4 across the belt
3mm pale pink AB gems were used to decorate the shoes and one in each corner.
Glossy accents added shine to sections of the guys suit and his hair!
So there we have my “late” entry to the challenge!
I keep looking at the card and I do sort of like it – why? Who knows!!!
Keep popping back to see what other strange items I will be sharing!
Its another card in my “to use or sell” box
See you again tomorrow friends!
x
