Pink Candle Easel

Hi there...

I bought this kit from www.cardmakingdownloads.com and its designed by Cards2craft

The kit comes with 8 sheets in all which does include 2 sheets for the envelope and a sheet of backing paper

So materials for this card I used ….

Foam shaping mat – stamping mat or even a mouse mat

To make the card ...

I roughly cut the base card out, sprayed the back with Crafters Companion stick and stay (its the red can)

Next I cut out the main card design then used the eazi score board and tool to score a line down the centre line and also across the centre of the op piece and folded it – run the tool along the fold to sharpen the edges.

Once I had the sharp folds it was my easel card base ready!

I did the base first so cut out the larger section and stuck onto a scrap of card and cut out – this was then had large sticky pads added to the back and placed on the base.

Then the sentiment had large sticky pads added and placed over the large base section.

Onto the card front, it was cut out all the decoupage layers and add large sticky pads to the 1st layer then smaller sticky pads to the remaining layers – I shaped the top layers using the shaping tool and foam mat then small sticky pads used to secure to the card.

To decorate I used the quickie glue pen and glitter to highlight parts and then glossy accents to the dripping wax of the candles

This is an unusual colour for a christmas card but pretty all the same – these days there are all manner of colours for christmas trees so I suppose a deep pink card isn't really out of place!

You may well notice I didn't add a card yesterday (2^nd Oct) this was due to not having any internet so totally out of my control
