The Dog Ate My...Homework!

This is a card I made up with thoughts of submitting as part of the design time for Aly's Crafty Challenges I think this link will take you there

Anyway we were to make cards or whatever we wanted with the theme as School

I made up a card and submitted it but I had also made up this card and half did a 3^rd but just didn't think to submit these

This card is made using a sheet from www.craftsuprint.com and was designed by Gordon Fraser – the sheet is called...

The Dog Ate My Homework!!!

To make this card I folded my metallic blue card to form an A5 card

I cut a strip of green and a strip of red card stock and taped them with double sided tape to the bottom part of the card

After cutting out the base image I stuck that to the card front to leave a broad border all around the card

The decoupage was easy to cut out – there was also a sentiment to add but I thought as it was a big one it would clutter the card

The decoupage was stuck to the card with small sticky pads

II used some newspaper printed card candy in the top right corner in black and in white

Glossy accents were added to the dogs nose, collar & tag, his name plate on the kennel and the bone!

I also used the glossy accents on the lads hair, his lapel badge, buttons, plaster on his leg and the toes of his shoes!

I just love the deal they are making...
