Josephine Wall

Hi
Another card today from another lovely cd I have just got – its from Joanna Sheen and is called Josephine Wall
Its a fantasy type cd with the most amazing artwork in stunning colours...I was spoilt for choice when I decided I was making a card from it
And if the images aren't up your street – and I will just point out they are not all with wings – the backing papers are beautiful and can be used for all manner of card, scrapbooking and atcs!
I really do rate this cd!

So materials for this card I used ….
Heat mat to work on and protect your surface – I always use it...
Main image sheet
Crocus border backing paper
A4 black card
Piece of pale pink glitter card
Martha Stewart border punch
Sticky pads
Eazi Score Board & tool
Tonic 8” guillotine
Scissors
Tweezers
Shaping tool from www.dimensionstamps.com
Foam shaping mat – stamping mat or even a mouse mat

To make the card …
I started by folding the black A4 card in half to make my A5 card blank.
The backing paper was cut to fit the card front leaving a narrow border all round – then I punched the right hand side with the Martha Stewart border punch and the top left with the matching corner punch just cannot recall what they are called though sorry.
This was attached to the card with double sided tape.
The backing paper was so pretty as it had individual images along the bottom to match the main image.

I cut the main image and matted it to a piece of pale pink glitter card leaving a border all round.
This was the secured with double sided tape to the card front leaving the flower border clear along the bottom as well as both punched areas.
The decoupage was cut out and added to the image with small double sided sticky pads

I curled the top layers slightly before adding the sticky pads.
Last thing was the sentiment – Just For You covers so many events – I trimmed it then matted onto a scrap of black mirri card which was then attached at an angle along the top of the card and image!

I love the vibrant colours in this image – and the rainbow really jumps out at you don't you think?
Ok well that's it for now, but I will be back again tomorrow with something else
Bye for now
x
