Its a WOW card

Hi
This is the 2nd card I have now made from the fanastic kits by Sue Douglas and bought from www.craftsuprint.com
They are from the Window With A View series – this is the New Baby Boy which I have made for the lady who does my nails – Teresa – as she will be a grandma again any time now – and I loved the kit and having a reason to actually make this one up
So materials for this card I used ….
Heat mat to work on and protect your surface – I always use it...
Main sheets – there are 6 sheets per kit
A4 white card (lightweight)
Glossy Accents to finish
AB gems and pearls
Sticky pads
Eazi Score Board & tool
Tonic 8” guillotine
Scissors
Tweezers
Shaping tool from www.dimensionstamps.com
Foam shaping mat – stamping mat or even a mouse mat
To make the card …
I started by trimming the borders off then sprayed the back of each sheet with Crafters Companion Stick & Stay, then smoothed the sheets onto light weight white card
There is a lot of cutting out – if you look at the cot you will see I chose to leave the white bits in – the design works well with or without the white pieces.
Once everything was cut out and I had my chosen sentiment I added that to the back of the card with sticky pads.
Next I used photo glue to stick the 2 inner frame panels together – these have slots along the sides for the doors to go into for opening.
After that it was a case of slotting in the elements – you can see where they need to be slotted by the position of the slits in the sides and the tabs on the support!
Last thing I did was stick the back of the card back in place – again I used photo glue as I was concerned if I didn't get lined up exactly it would ruin all the hard work!
I bet when you looked at the card you said WOW or something similar – they are the kind of finished cards that really do merit a WOW
All I have to do now is write on the back, pop into a standard 8x8 envelope and hand it over!
See you next time folks
x
