Chubby Cubby Bear

Hi
I do have a couple of cards that I could share but would prefer to hang on until the recipients have received them as they may well follow this blog
So this is a card made for my neighbours son and daughter in law who had a 2nd son a week or two ago
The kit is called Blue Chubby Cubby Bear Shaped Kit and was designed by Karen Heavyside and purchased from www.cardmakingdownloads.com
The kit comes with card base, decoupage, backing paper, insert and 2 sheets for matching envelope so very good value for money
So materials for this card I used ….
Heat mat to work on and protect your surface – I always use it...
All sheets except backing paper
A4 pale blue card
Glossy Accents and Glamour Dust to finish
Sticky pads
Eazi Score Board & tool
Tonic 8” guillotine
Scissors
Tweezers
Shaping tool from www.dimensionstamps.com
Foam shaping mat – stamping mat or even a mouse mat
To make the card …
The main image was roughly cut out then I sprayed the back with Crafters Companion Stick & Stay and attached it to the pale blue card stock
I scored the centre line, folded and the cut out
Once that was done I trimmed the waste from the insert and stuck that inside the card.
Next all the decoupage was cut out and added to the card front with sticky pads, shaping the top pieces before adding sticky pads
The 2 sheets for the envelope were cut out, scored and folded then stuck together with double sided tape that I rubbed a pritt stick over first so I had time to remove and reposition if needed.
With the card and envelope all made it just left embellishing – so I highlighted a few areas with a quickie glue pen then sprinkled with glamour dust – removed any excess and then highlighted nose, ball and a few other areas with glossy accents
Well that's another card shared..I've been in my craft room all day today and did plan on making a couple of cards for February birthdays but instead made up some ATCs for group swaps...you might even get to see them on here!!!

And that's your lot for today folks!!!
Bye for now
x
