Digger Easel Card

Hello

You may be pleased to know I have a card ready to be shared today!

It is the card I ended up doing for Pete's grandson after the disaster with the shelf card – well not so much a disaster I suppose – I just didn't figure out how it was to stand and then fold flat to be posted.

But this card is lovely and was designed by Janet Briggs and bought from www.cardmakingdownloads.com

The kit is called Digger Easel Kit and has 3 sheets to create the card and 2 more sheets make up the envelope.

So materials for this card I used ….

Heat mat to work on and protect your surface – I always use it...

The printed sheets, 5 which includes 2 sheets for envelope

Baby blue A4 card

Sticky pads

Eazi Score Board & tool

Tonic 8” guillotine

Scissors

Tweezers

Shaping tool from www.dimensionstamps.com

Foam shaping mat – stamping mat or even a mouse mat

To make the card …

I roughly cut out the 3 sheets then sprayed them all with Crafters Companion Stick & Stay and pressed onto lovely pale blue card stock.

Then all the decoupage were then carefully cut out, and the dashed lines all scored and creased sharply.

The decoupage was easy to cut out and I built it up with small sticky pads.

The card is the basic easel – so a flat base and the top card is scored and folded in half and the main image then stuck to this

The envelope was a simple cut and stick together..I do like it when kits have matching envelopes as it finishes the card don't you think?

Ok...so there you have it – my first shared card of 2013

I do hope you like it – I know not everyone has to make a kids card and maybe you don't then like looking at them – but I guess there are as many if not more people who do have to make a kiddies card at some stage

Right then...that's your lot for today

But hope I will see you here again tomorrow

x
