Bib & Shoe

Hi there....

Hooray – a card to share with you...just hope you haven't all got fed up and left me....

This is made using a kit by Kizzy Dizzy....its called BABY GIRL BIB AND SHOE

Its a lot of printing out – well 5 sheets in all which does seem a lot for a card that's only around A6 when finished

So once printed I stuck the main sheet to pink card stock and scored the centre before folding in half...

Next I added the insert, which I had already added to the verse to prior to printing out, I would have liked to used a fancy edge trimmer but there was so little spare room around the card it just had to be left plain!

There isnt much to do on the card really – the bib is 2 pieces of decoupage and then the flower and teddy – and the shoe much the same as in the bottom part of the shoe and then when I did the 2nd piece I punched 2 holes and threaded pink ribbon which was then tied in a pretty bow. The ruffled flower decoupage pieces were cut and fixed in place with sticky pads.

After that it really was just the ribbon bow above the bib, the pretty heart shape with Sweet on it and the button in the bottom right corner!

The matching envelope was simply a front and a back piece cut out and stuck together with double sided tape

I used an envelope glue – its literally like a bought envelope – lick and stick!!

Hope you aren't too disappointed with the 1st card for days....

See you tomorrow
xx
