Bunny Capers!

Hi...

I’m a little late on as I have been out on the train to get my nails done which meant I was out from 10 till 2pm – and I am shattered now.

This isn’t a card today, it is a jumbo card which I made as part of a 3 jumbo swap with my old neighbour and crafting friend, I chose the subject and excitedly got my 3 jumbos made last night so I could post them today and it was only as I did the last one did I remember my theme was Travel! Never mind she gets a bonus.

I have decided I will enter this in the cd Sunday blog challenge, the theme this time is Animal Antics and this may fit the theme but if it doesn’t never mind I still love it!

So I used a piece of mount board measuring 9.5cmx14.5cm.

The cd I used is the one I said just a few days ago that I thought I would use over and again, its called Harriett and More, Sweet Collection by Crafty Sentiments, you really need to look out for this fab cd!

I used a coloured digi image which I just loved – that poor rabbit being carried around by the ears but he has the cheekiest smile on his face, it was this that made me thing of the Animal Antics theme.

I cut the image out and stuck direct to the black mount board, I love doing jumbos but sometime there just isn’t enough space to do what comes to mind, but I found the prettiest heart charm so I pierced a hole at the top right and held in place with a red pearl brad.

Rarely do I use the 100’s of peel offs that I have, they just seem so outdated, but I found a fab border that had matching square corners so I used the longer lengths down the sides and a short length at the top then sat a corner in all 4 corners, I did try a short length at the boot but it looked boxed in, without that strip I see this as she is walking towards me...or am I losing the plot??

I used glossy accents on all he dots and such on the clothing and her hair as well as bunny’s posh tie.

The buttons on her braces were replaced with pretty pink ab gems.

And to finish it completely I coloured a length of white ribbon bright red using a pro marker then tied a small bow for the top corner.

I do hope bunny had the chance to hop and play!
