Build A Penguin!

This great card has been made from a sheet I purchased some time ago from

Sadly there are no names or numbers to share in connection with the sheet!

So onto making the card - to start with I folded an sheet of lovely pearl dark blue card into half to create my A5 card blank.

I matted the base layer onto a piece of silver mirri card leaving an all way round narrow border and then fixed the mirri card to my card blank using double sided tape

The easy to cut decoupage was then built up and attached to the other layers using tiny double sided sticky pads until all layers were added

Using the sakura quickie glue pen I highlighted the greyscale houses and then sprinkled with glamour dust then did the same with the main penguins

I used a scrap of silver mirri card and cut to hold the small sentiment - but before sticking in place I used a lovely fancy corner punch

The sentiment which reads "Quick! Take The Photo!" was positioned on an angle below the main image

The finishing touches were the new card candy pearly white with silver stars which were on each corner of the blue card and a small black pearl was attahced to the 4 corners of the greyscale design

A lovely card to make up - as well as lovely to recieve!
