Birthday Tag

Hi

I spotted this lovely sheet in one of my folders so decided to make it up

It was bought from www.craftsuprint.com and was designed by June Harrop – the cup number for anyone interested is 311618_703

It was so easy to make

I folded an A4 sheet of white card to form my A5 card blank, inked the edges with a Tim Holta distress ink pad then added a length of lilac spotted ribbon length wise on the card securing inside the card with tape

Next I added a sheet of very dark purple card leaving a white border all round

After that it was fit the main image to the purple mat again leaving a border

The floral panel had to be stuck on the main image just along the outer edges and the bottom so I fit stuck the panel to a piece of scrap card – cut it out – then stuck in place

The tag was also stuck to a piece of card and then cut out – the corners were rounded with the corner chomper and a hole punched at top of the tag – I used the crop-a-dile then popped in a flower shaped brad which was set using the crop-a-dile tool

I had some pretty butterflies that Yvonne had kindly cut out and sent to me so I used the lilac ink pad to colour it then sprayed lightly with the limited edition Pink glitter spray by Crafters Companion – once dry I shaped lightly and stuck the body only onto the card front.

Added shiny purple card candy to the outer corners and the inner panel corners too

Edged the lilac rose with a quickie glue pen and sprinkled with Debbi Moore lilac glitter then the pink rose with a quickie glue pen and pink glitter

A really lovely card for a birthday
